Installation Manual

After two years of established business with the merchant and commercial markets RM Cylinders have spent the last 12 months developing and presenting their products and services to the new build market. This offering has now been packaged under the RM Homeflow brand, bringing together both standalone unvented hot water cylinders, including pre-plumb units and various solar panel options to suit all applications.

RM Cylinders operates alongside RM solar manufacturing a complete range of copper vented and duplex stainless steel unvented cylinders all manufactured at our purpose built factory units near Wakefield, West Yorkshire which is capable of dealing with large volume orders.

RM also offer a free of charge, fully indemnified design service and drawings as well as SAP calculations and EPC's. The level of indemnity inusrance cover is up to £5 Million per claim.

In linking all these benefits together they offer a service and peace of mind to the house builder that is hard to beat, that package is Homeflow.


Homeflow Specification


The following outlines the standard specification:

  • Minimum recommended working pressure 1 bar.
  • Maximum working pressure 15 bar.
  • All cylinder connections are 22mm compression.
  • Units tested to 15 bar.
  • Minimum water supply 1.5 bar, 20 litres/min.
  • Primary coil circuit must be pumped.
  • Gravity coils available by special order.
  • Stainless steel stat pocket guaranteed against corrosion.
