RM Cylinders have always been commited to supplying quality hot water vessels into the market place and they make
no exception with their Thermal Store offering.
Thermal Stores have been developed to accept a wide range of heating inputs whether from controllable or uncontrollable heat sources whilst still offering mains pressure hot water.
Thermal stores work in reverse to conventional storage solutions. By swapping over the primary and secondary waters the cylinder can supply mains pressure hot water in a safe and efficient manor without the need for discharge pipe work.
Primary waters stored in the main body of the unit are able to safely expand meaning that the units can be integrated with uncontrollable heat sources normally not available to use with mains pressure cylinders.
Secondary waters are supplied directly from the mains through a specially developed heat exchanger in the cylinder. As the water passes through the heat exchanger in the tank it collects heat which is sent directly to the taps at mains pressure.
Additional heat exchangers can also be integrated into the tank in order to provide heating water for radiators and underfloor heating. This principal allows multiple heat sources to contribute to the heating.
Because of the unique nature of thermal store cylinders and the fact they require no discharge pipe work they are extremely popular with builders of social housing and installers.
